NXT’s ratings go down with Charlotte Flair in the main event

Pro wrestling viewership was down on Wednesday night, Feb. 26.

Per Showbuzz Daily, AEW netted 865,000 viewers for a .30 rating point in the 18-49 demographic. NXT checked in with 717,000 viewers for a .23 rating point in the same 18-49 demo.

For AEW, this is a decrease of about 28,000 viewers from the prior week, with a slight decrease from last week’s 0.31 demo rating. For NXT, viewership decreased by about 77,000 viewers from the prior week, and the demo was down from last week’s 0.25.

AEW dropped from 5th to 9th place in the demo rating for the night, while NXT moved down from 16th place to 17th place.

This was the lowest viewership total in the month of February for NXT, despite Charlotte Flair wrestling in the main event. AEW’s numbers were slightly down, but their viewership lead over NXT increased to a total of 148,000 people. However, AEW’s demo rating has still not recovered to the levels it was reaching prior to Feb. 12.

Total viewership for Wednesday night checked in at 1,582,000 pro wrestling fans.
