You are ‘stupid’ if you use the term ‘main roster,’ says Johnny Gargano

From his interview with TMZ, which is yet another NXT wrestler’s attempt at acting as though NXT is anywhere near the level of Raw or SmackDown:

“So anyone out there who uses the words ‘main roster’ when talking about Raw and SmackDown, how about you watch the show on Wednesday night. You’ll see the real main roster. You’ll see the best wrestling show on the planet. You will see the best locker room on the planet led by me. That’s what you will see on Wednesday night. ‘Main roster,’ ‘developmental;’ you’re stupid if you use those words. You’re stupid! Quit it!”

Gargano is simply acting as the promotional arm for the brand he works for here. I assure you, you are not “stupid” for calling Raw/SmackDown the main roster. NXT is no longer a developmental program, that much is clear, but it’s certainly not the main roster.

No matter how many wrestlers working under its banner say as much.
