The highly anticipated rematch pitting Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder took place tonight (Feb. 22, 2020) in Las Vegas, Nevada, and, in a surprise, Fury dominated the fight by taking it to the champion, knocking him down multiple times and battering him all throughout.
Wilder was bleeding from the ear after a big early shot and he looked shaky on his feet from there. Fury never let off the gas and eventually Wilder’s corner had seen enough, throwing in the towel and, in turn, surrendering the WBC heavyweight championship.
Look who was there taking it in:

This is noteworthy for us here because there were rumors and reports that suggested Fury could be in line to work WrestleMania 36, pending the result of this fight. A loss could have very well meant WWE deciding to stay away. This victory could very well mean he plays a huge role on the show.
We’ll have to stay tuned for all that.
For now, Fury has cemented himself as the best heavyweight boxer on the planet.
