During a promo delivered via TitanTron on Raw this past Monday (Feb. 17), Shayna Baszler said a bad word.
WWE didn’t even include the bleeped word in their YouTube clip of the segment, but their friends over at Fox have it:
Saying “shit” on national television didn’t prompt the same level of outrage as women being sexy at halftime of a football game or anything, but Baszler did hear from at least one fan via Twitter who didn’t like his child learning another word for poop.
She responded in-character with some parenting advice...
Or you could be a father and tell them I am a terrible person and they shouldn’t like me for that. Or that they will get grounded and their tablets taken away if they ever do that. Because I don’t give a crap about your kids so I won’t modify my behavior for them.

She’s not wrong. And from my own experience watching WWE programming with a kiddo, I can say that the occasional curse word was way down on the list of... let’s call them “teachable moments”... that came up.
Anyway, as another Twitter user pointed out, parents of potentially potty-mouthed kids should be glad it was Shayna responding and not another MMA fighter-turned-WWE Superstar.
