It was just over three weeks ago that AJ Styles injured his shoulder in the Royal Rumble following a big sell of a spear from the returning Edge. Just a week after it happened, WWE reported he was “recovering way ahead of schedule.”
Turns out, they were right!

Indeed, Styles returned to television on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw. The timing couldn’t be better, considering he’s scheduled for the Tuwaiq Trophy Gauntlet match at Super ShowDown on Feb. 27 in Saudi Arabia. There have also been reports linking him to a big match at WrestleMania 36.
He didn’t wrestle on Raw, though it was teased, so it appears his first action back will indeed be in just over one week in Riyadh.
