If you’re not rooting for Tegan Nox on Sunday, you have no soul

Okay, maybe that’s a little harsh.

But the 25 year old Kane superfan from Wales is really likeable, and WWE has done an amazing job presenting the story of her comeback from multiple knee surgeries in “The Comeback” series they’re released via the Performance Center’s YouTube page this week.

My colleague Cain touched on part one when sharing the tearjerking second episode here. Since then, part three chronicled the emotional valley that almost ended her career after her 2018 Mae Young Classic injury - and reveals the movie that helped her climb out of depression, and inspired her ring gear.

The concluding part four has me ready to run through a freaking wall for Steph Newell (Tegan’s real name)...

It doesn’t even matter that the series has shattered kayfabe and features her TakeOver: Portland rival crying about how inspired she is by her friend’s story. This still makes me want to see Nox kick the crap out of Dakota Kai and continue on her journey to bigger, better, shinier things.

See you tomorrow night.
