WWE is releasing a series of videos called “The Comeback”, detailing Tegan Nox’s devastating knee injuries and her inspirational return to the ring.
The first video explains her background in the United Kingdom and how she arrived in NXT. It also covers how she blew out her right knee and was forced to miss the inaugural Mae Young Classic tournament, and finishes with her return one year later for the second tournament.
The above video is the second one in the series, and it describes all the circumstances behind the even worse knee injuries that she suffered in her match with Rhea Ripley during the second Mae Young Classic tournament.
It’s hard not to cry when watching the video, starting with how happy and hopeful she is to be back in the tournament and declaring that nothing will take her out of it this time, only to know how it would eventually play out. You can also see how Tegan’s co-workers such as Candice LeRae are completely devastated upon seeing Nox crying in pain on the mat and unable to finish her match with Ripley. It’s heart-breaking to watch Nox in tears apologizing to Triple H backstage.

Tegan Nox returns to NXT Takeover this Sunday in Portland on Feb. 16 in a Street Fight against her former best friend Dakota Kai. You’re definitely rooting for Nox to win, right?
