WWE announces WrestleMania 37 will be in Los Angeles

LA Times

As expected, next year WWE will once again hold the Showcase of the Immortals under the bright lights of Hollywood.

The LA Times got the scoop, and McKenzie Mitchell followed with a WWE Now video summarizing the news that WrestleMania 37 will take place in Inglewood, California’s new SoFi Stadium on Sun., Mar. 28, 2021.

The new venue will be the regular home of the NFL’s Rams & Chargers. It’s also set to host the college football national championship and the Olympics. Capacity for football is 70,240, but SoFi can be configured to hold over 100,000 people.

Venues for other WrestleMania week events are also included in the announcement. Thursday’s Hall of Fame ceremony, Friday’s SmackDown, Saturday’s NXT TakeOver, and Monday’s Raw will be in downtown L.A.’s Staples Center. Axxess will be held at next door at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

A press conference is set for tomorrow (Tues., Feb. 11, 2020).
