Karrion Kross is back!

Earlier tonight in NXT, Scarlett returned to make Karrion Kross’ intentions for the NXT title known. Given Kross wasn’t with her, it felt like a slow introduction that would have us waiting a couple of weeks to see the man himself.

That was some misdirection.

Because of some trash that Damian Priest talked to Scarlett regarding her doing all the work for Kross, Karrion returned to make a statement to the Archer of Infamy later in the night.

Priest interrupted a Gargano Family celebration but was soon attacked by the former NXT champion. Damian was powerbombed onto a table off the stage by Kross. Then Karrion stormed off, got in the car with Scarlett waiting, and peeled off.

This serves as a stay of execution for Finn Bálor. Kross will have a feud with Priest first prior to getting his title match. That frees Finn to face someone else on New Year’s Evil, such as Pete Dunne, Kyle O’Reilly, or Kushida.
