Roman Reigns pumps the brakes on Goldberg’s ‘next’ talk

This shouldn’t be taken as a sign that a Goldberg/Roman Reigns match won’t happen in 2021. But at least the Tribal Chief is making it clear it won’t happen this year...

That’s Roman indirectly responding to Goldberg’s comments on The Bump this morning. And it’s in stuff like this that I find some reason for optimism about a Reigns/Goldberg program.

Am I looking forward to the match? Not really (but I might if they book Roman to take care of Bill G as quickly as Bill G took care of Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series in 2016).

But there could be a good story in the Head of the Table working to deny Goldberg a match by claiming its beneath him, while others question whether he’s afraid to face the man who put down Brock and The Fiend, among others.

Now back to our regularly scheduled and still completely kick-ass Kevin Owens program, which should be followed by another completely kick-ass Daniel Bryan one.
