Raw ends with the looming threat of Randy Orton burning someone to death ... again

Pro wrestling is ridiculous, and has been for so many years it feels almost silly to make note of such an obvious fact. It’s more appropriate to say WWE, the top promotion in pro wrestling, is so far beyond silly it exists in an entirely different dimension.

A good example: the TLC pay-per-view concluded with Randy Orton burning a man to death, apparently. It was a doll, obviously, but the story is that he burned Bray Wyatt to death right there in the middle of the ring.

This story continued on Monday Night Raw this week, with Alexa Bliss, having just returned from a brief absence, demanding that Orton do the same to her. She poured gasoline all over herself and gave Randy matches to get the blaze going.

The lights went out, and the show went off the air with the looming threat of Orton following through on that request:

It is, quite literally, painful how stupid this continues to be.
