On Friday night’s SmackDown, Roman Reigns was at his criminal mastermind best. He was ready for his TLC Universal title challenger Kevin Owens, authorizing his cousin/henchman Jey Uso to take KO out by any means necessary (within PG kayfabe reason).
Nothing Reigns or Uso could do would keep Owens down, however. The challenger has finally come into his own as a babyface by integrated the ruthless characteristics he’s had throughout his career with his new “Never Stop Fighting” mantra.
It’s that drive that led him the crawl out from under the tables, ladders and chairs Roman buried him under last night to tell the Tribal Chief he won’t stay down. And it’s that drive that put him on the Talking Smack set an hour later.
Once there, he graciously dismissed Kayla Braxton and Booker T, giving all his attention to Paul Heyman. He also demanded all of Reigns’ counselor’s attention - and his silence. Securing that, he delivered a longer message to the entire Anoa’i Crime Family.
If you like Owens, or Reigns, or are at all invested in their program... you’re gonna want to watch this:
