Two wrestlers added to SmackDown men’s Survivor Series team

SmackDown added two wrestlers to its men’s Survivor Series team on this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, both by way of a qualifying match.

In the first, Baron Corbin defeated Rey Mysterio with a big assist from Seth Rollins, Murphy, and Rey’s own daughter. They all got involved at various points, ultimately proving to be enough of a distraction that Mysterio took the End of Days and couldn’t answer the three count.

In the second, Rollins booked his ticket by defeating former Money in the Bank contract holder Otis, whose woes continue. In a surprise moment, Murphy provided a distraction for Rollins that allowed him to hit a superkick followed by the Curb Stomp to score the three count and the win.

They join Kevin Owens and Jey Uso, who had previously qualified in separate singles matches.

Team Raw currently consists of AJ Styles, Keith Lee, Sheamus, and Braun Strowman, with one more member to be determined.

Survivor Series is scheduled for Sun., Nov. 22, 2020, at the ThunderDome at Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.
