Bending sound, dredging the ocean, lost in my circle, here am I, flashing no color, but rather liveblogging this here pro wrestling show for you, folks.

The show opens into the ThunderDome.

Bayley is interviewed backstage after a video package.

She talks about all the emotions she feels, like joy at wrapping a chair around Sasha’s neck and so on. More than anything, though, she’s sad. Tonight she takes back what’s hers, etc.

Bayley vs. Sasha Banks (c) (WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship)

Intense struggle in a collar and elbow to start, Banks bringing out a little bit of lucha libre to break the stalemate with an arm drag. Looking for the Bank Statement early, but Bayley makes it to the ropes to force the break and send us to break.

Back from commercial, Bayley is in control but Banks sidesteps a baseball slide and trips her face-first into the apron! Double knees on the apron and into the ringpost, but Bayley counters a followup with a monkey flip of sorts into the apron! Back inside, catapult into the bottom rope as the challenger maintains her pace but cannot put Sasha away!

Corner headscissors followed up by double knees, the Boss back in the fight, she runs into a lariat but kicks out of the cover! Jockeying for position in the corner, Meteora connects but both women are down and out! Crossbody off the apron leaves both women lying again and we go to break!

Back from commercial, Banks is in the turnbuckles and perching, trying to drag Bayley up with her. Jockeying for position, sliding to the floor... BAYLEY FRANKENSTEINERS SASHA INTO THE ANNOUNCE TABLE! Back inside, up top, Sasha cuts her off and trips her into the turnbuckles, hard! Elbow across the sternum on the apron, back inside, Banks heads up top... FROG SPLASH FOR TWO!

Countering finisher attempts, Bank Statement crossface applied but they’re too close to the ropes and Bayley kicks her into the barricade! A kendo stick is a smokescreen for the chair, but Sasha blocks it and gets rid of the chair! Bayley with a lungblower to set up the Bayley-to-Belly... NOT ENOUGH! Up top, diving elbow... STILL NO!

A flurry from Bayley leads to another nearfall off a back suplex, she follows it up with the Bank Statement crossface! Trapping the arm for good measure, but the Boss crawls and reaches and they end up in the ropes where referee Danilo Anfibio forces the break! To the apron, she sidesteps Bayley shoulder-first into the post!

Middle of the ring, the lungblower connects...

Sasha Banks wins by submission with the Bank Statement to retain the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship.

Carmella appears on the stage while Sasha celebrates and lays her out with a superkick and an X-Factor!

Kevin Owens runs into Jey Uso backstage and they have some heated words but KO is just trying to reach out to his Survivor Series tag partner.

And so we go to break.

Back from commercial we get some hype for the Undertaker’s alleged “Final Farewell” at Survivor Series.

A recap of what we just saw follows, because why not.

Jey Uso is interviewed backstage and we get a meaty recap of his Hell in a Cell fallout and alignment with Roman Reigns.

He says he had to do what he had to do, and he considers Daniel Bryan a friend, but he ain’t blood.

Paul Heyman rolls up to put a stop to the interview, since Roman Reigns did not authorize it and he wants to talk to Jey now.

Rey Mysterio is on the phone trying to get ahold of his daughter Aalyah when Dominik rolls up to tell him his match is next.

Rey asks him to go get his gear and King Baron Corbin blindsides him and beats him down to send us to break!

Back from commercial, Paul Heyman is talking to Jey Uso outside of Roman Reigns’ dressing room.

He tells him he does indeed need permission from Roman to do an interview, and Jey wants to talk to him now, but Paul insists on going in alone.

He comes out a moment later with Reigns.

Roman asks if he’s out here trying to tell his story, and there’s a chain of command here, and he has to talk to either him or Paul E. And what’s all this about Kevin Owens? Uso says he’s just making dumb jokes, but Roman says he was disrespecting him, and if KO disrespects him, then he disrespects Reigns and their entire bloodline.

Jey says he’ll handle it and he walks off.

Reigns asks Heyman if he knew about this, and when he says he didn’t, Roman tells him he’s supposed to know everything and handle everything so he doesn’t have to. Paul says he understands, and Reigns tells him to go find five-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion Adam Pearce, because they’re gonna handle the Kevin Owens problem tonight.

King Baron Corbin vs. Rey Mysterio (Survivor Series Qualifying Match)

Corbin catches Mysterio in a spinebuster out the gates for two, choking him in the ropes and generally taking advantage of having attacked him earlier. To the floor, beating him down in front of his son, back inside, back out again and finally Rey gets a chance to get his licks in. Forearms inside, off the ropes but he runs right into a back elbow!

Baron recovers, tijeras from Mysterio! Looking to follow it up but Seth Rollins makes his entrance to distract him and send us to break.

Back from commercial, Corbin in charge, but Mysterio gets knees up in the corner. Baron with a Canadian backbreaker rack drop! Clubbing blows, backbreakers, a knee on his back and the rear chinlock follows briefly. Beating Rey down on the floor briefly, back inside, more punching, overhead elbows and the bear hug!

Fired up, Mysterio with dropkicks to the leg, on the second rope, looking for the 619 and he peels away and attacks Dominik on the floor! Rey with a plancha, everybody down and out on the floor as Aalyah Mysterio and Buddy Murphy make their way down. Baron takes advantage...

King Baron Corbin wins by pinfall with End of Days, qualifying for Team SmackDown at Survivor Series.

We’re informed that Kevin Owens and Jey Uso will be wrestling later and go to break.

Back from commercial, we get a video package for WWE’s partnership with Hire Heroes.

Natalya vs. Ruby Riott vs. Zelina Vega (Survivor Series Qualifying Match)

Back and forth, small package, Natalya with the Romero Special on Riott and Vega slides in for a cover for two! Elbow up, Ruby with the STO, Nattie with the Sharpshooter, action fast and furious, Zelina rolls her through into the short Frankensteiner but Riott rolls out of the ring! Neidhart with a schoolboy, discus lariat countered, trading pins, back to the Sharpshooter in the middle of the ring!

Vega gets the ropes briefly but Nattie drags her back in, Ruby locks her own submission on and the second Nattie lets go...

Ruby Riott wins by submission with a chickenwing fishhook to qualify for Team SmackDown at Survivor Series.

Post-match, Nattie is mad about having the win sniped out from under her.

Backstage, Big E is playing a board game with some woman, and winning, when Street Profits rolls up and ask him if he wants to come hang out with the champs.

He’s down and asks if they want a scoop for their champion vs. champion match against New Day at Survivor Series. His tip is for them to lay down so Kofi and Xavier won’t beat him up too bad, and they all laugh.

Billie Kay rolls up to give her resume to Street Profits to offer her expertise as a former member of the Raw roster, but they point out that they were on Raw at the same time and move on.

Otis Dozovic makes his entrance to send us to break.

Otis Dozovic vs. Seth Rollins (Survivor Series Qualifying Match)

Circling, Rollins in hot with axehandles, he ends up on the floor as Buddy Murphy makes his entrance. Back inside, heel trip, back body drop puts Rollins on the floor! Back inside, Sling Blade connects, shoulder blocks, Otis getting fired up! Shrugging chops off, lariats, scoop and a slam! Buddy up on the apron, running distraction, superkick, off the ropes...

Seth Rollins wins by pinfall with Blackout to qualify for Team SmackDown at Survivor Series.

Post-match, Rollins stares meaningfully at Murphy to send us to break.

Back from commercial, Seth Rollins chases Buddy Murphy down backstage.

He says he knows what he saw out there tonight and he asks Buddy to tell him he saw what he thinks he saw. Buddy points to him and says messiah and then points to himself and says disciple. Rollins walks off all excited.

Aalyah Mysterio rolls up and gives Buddy a talking to, but he tells her to trust that he knows what he’s doing for the greater good.

Lars Sullivan is interviewed by Michael Cole.

He talks about being bullied and then bullying the bullies.

Jey Uso makes his entrance to send us to break.

Back from commercial, we get some hype for tomorrow’s episode of Talking Smack.

Kevin Owens is interviewed backstage and talks about how Jey Uso and Roman Reigns might have a problem with him, but so be it.

What Jey did to Daniel Bryan last week was out of hand, but he gets it. He’s done questionable things for his family, but the difference is he chose to do those things because he’s his own man, which is more than he can say for Uso. The beating he’s got coming is 100% from KO.

Jey Uso vs. Kevin Owens

Collar and elbow, struggling, Owens with a side headlock to grind him down. Shot off, shoulder block, Uso to the ropes to recover while Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman watch from backstage. Waistlock, arm wringer, Jey getting into the fight, body blows to block a headlock but Kev slams him to set up the senton!

Reigns sends Heyman off to do his bidding, Jey goes for a suicide dive but KO catches him and throws him into the barricade! Splash off the apron from Owens sends us to break.

Back from commercial, trading right hands, neckbreaker over the knee and Owens is starting to roll! Headed up top as Paul Heyman makes his way ringside and Uso drops KO to the floor with a superkick! A dive follows, smashing Kev’s face into the steel steps, back inside. Stomp to the face, mounted punches while Paul looks on approvingly.

Reverse chinlock applied, Owens throws him off, catches the kick, superkick of his own leaves both guys down and out! Another superkick sets Jey up for the cannonball! Up top, perching, senton atomico from the big man... NOPE! Off the ropes, pop-up turned into a leapfrog and Uso hits a superkick! Back suplex neckbreaker... STILL NO!

Jey to his feet on the apron, up top, Kev cuts him off, trading right hands, nobody home on the splash! KO pops him up for the powerbomb... NO GOOD! Roman Reigns’ music plays for the distraction, Uso with a low blow nobody notices! Superkick, headed up top...

Jey Uso wins by pinfall with the diving splash.

Post-match, Jey slaps hands with a smug Paul E as Roman makes his entrance.

He stands tall with his cousin, proud.

That’s the show, folks.
