WWE RAW RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR NOV. 30
We passed upon the stair, we spoke of was and when. Although I wasn’t there, he said I was his friend, which came as some surprise. I spoke into his eyes, and let him know that I’m here to liveblog this pro wrestling show for you folks.
The show opens with the intro video.
Alexa Bliss is in the ring to host A Moment of Bliss. The set features a doll in a birdcage, so that’s creepy.
She welcomes us to the show and introduces her guest, Randy Orton.
We get a recap of the recent goings on between Orton and Bray Wyatt and Randy observes that he and the Fiend haven’t been properly introduced yet, but they have a lot in common. The main difference between them, in fact, is that he’s better at masking who he is and blending in with the rest of the normal world.
He claims the Fiend hears voices and they are in fact the same voices he hears. He talks about how he exploited a weakness by burning Sister Abigail’s shack to the ground, and he thinks he might have found another such weakness, right here. This leads Alexa to get serious and get in his face, asking who’s manipulating who.
The lights start going down Fiendwise and come back up red.
When they do, the Fiend is in the ring and Bliss is in Randy’s arms as Wyatt walks towards them. He stretches his hands out and Orton gives Alexa to him before running away. The Viper asks who’s laughing now from the entryway.
Commentary hypes up our next match and we go to break.
Back from commercial, commentary hypes up this weekend’s NXT TakeOver: WarGames for us.
We get a video package for Drew McIntyre’s rise to the WWE Championship.
Elias vs. Jeff Hardy (Symphony of Destruction Match)
Circling, trading punches, whip across, Hardy with a front kick and a clothesline that sends Elias to the floor! Slingshot dropkick, following out after him, grabbing a violin, Jeff gets a headstart and comes off the steps with it but gets plucked out of midair with a knee strike! Smashing Hardy’s face into the apron, electric chair facebuster into the apron follows it!
Smashing Jeff’s head into the lid of a grand piano set up in the entranceway, and it turns out R-Truth is sleeping inside of it! The rest of the 24/7 Championship scene comes running down, Hardy back body drops Drew Gulak, Elias takes Gran Metalik out with a lariat and they both hit El Kabongs to send us to break!
Back from commercial, Hardy gets the Manhattan Drop > double leg drop > basement dropkick > big splash sequence for two, kick to the gut, Twist of Fate blocked, Drift Away blocked, and Elias puts the Charismatic Enigma face-first through a guitar wedged into the turnbuckles! Cover for two, the Drifter follows it up by loading guitar picks between his fingers like Wolverine and punching Hardy in the face repeatedly!
Grinding them into Jeff’s face, action to the floor, smashing Hardy into some drums and punctuating the sequence with the hi-hat! Throwing Jeff into the ringpost face-first, charging in with a running knee but Hardy sidesteps and the Drifter goes knee-first into a gong! Jeff throws him through the drum kit and chokes him against the barricade!
Back inside, Hardy wants a guitar shot but Elias cuts him off and electric chairs him in the corner! Spin-out into a powerbomb, Jeff reverses to a Frankensteiner and cuts him off with a knee! Up top, Whisper in the Wind... THE DRIFTER CUTS HIM OUT OF THE AIR WITH A GUITAR SHOT TO THE KNEE! NOT ENOUGH!
Action to the floor, Hardy sidesteps and Elias puts a guitar neck into a speaker cabinet and gets... electrocuted? I dunno, he seizes up and sparks fly. Jeff whips a double bass at him and sets him up on a table, laying a viola across his midsection and ukuleles and a violin across his chest. Up top... SWANTON BOMB TO THE FLOOR AND THROUGH THE TABLE AND ASSORTED INSTRUMENTS! IT’S OVER!
Jeff Hardy wins by pinfall with a Swanton Bomb that cracked his own damn skull against the base of the steel steps.
Keith Lee is getting ready backstage when Matt Riddle rolls up to ramble about their match tonight and Drew McIntyre’s accent.
And so we go to break.
Back from commercial, we get New Day cutting an ad for WWE Shop’s Cyber Monday sales.
Retribution get a promo where Mustafa Ali wonders why Ricochet can’t see that he’s been pushing the same boulder up the same mountain and falling down again and again, and that he’s going through the same thing that each of Retribution has. SLAPJACK gives a personal testimonial, to boot.
Ricochet makes his entrance and we go to break.
Ricochet vs. SLAPJACK
Ricochet with a springboard crossbody out the gates, right hands, SLAPJACK tears at his face and puts him in the corner but Ricky’s able to keep focus until Mustafa Ali distracts him and the Retribution man trips him into the turnbuckles for two! Kneeling neck crank applied, Ricochet gets a way, boots up in the corner, dropkick to the chest!
Block a right hand, punches of his own, whip reversed, flying forearm lays SLAPJACK out! Punches, a knee lift, shoulder thrust pass to the apron, springboard lariat connects, Ricochet follows with a standing shooting star press... NO DICE! Mustafa calls for T-Bar and Mace, Ricky dumps SLAPJACK out onto them and runs the ropes... SASUKE SPECIAL WIPES THEM OUT!
Back inside, Ricochet lines them up, Dana Brooke runs interference and slaps Ali across the face! Ricky with a superkick, springboard enzuigiri for T-Bar, an enzuigiri for Mace, Mustafa ducks his punch, SLAPJACK capitalizes...
SLAPJACK wins by pinfall with the Lightning Spiral.
We get another video covering Drew McIntyre’s journey to the championship.
A video package for Tribute to the Troops sends us to break.
Back from commercial, the Miz and John Morrison are in the ring to host a new episode of MizTV.
Miz welcomes us to the show and introduces his guest, Sheamus.
They make small talk about Thanksgiving but Sheamus threatens to kick them in the face if they don’t get to the point. They ramble about Michael Flatley and finally get to their point, talking about Sheamus giving Drew McIntyre his family chest back and they point out that he hasn’t gotten anything for his trouble.
He says he doesn’t expect anything in return for helping a friend and he and Drew are like brothers. Miz says the first thing he’ll do if he wins the title is give John Morrison a shot, and he pitches Sheamus on turning on McIntyre tonight and helping him cash in and when that didn’t work, he mocks Sheamus for not having had a title reign in years.
Sheamus has had enough and he beats up Miz and Morrison, clearing the ring until the A-Lister comes back with the Money in the Brank beefcase and beats the Celtic Warrior up with it, leaving the heels standing tall.
Asuka gets a promo backstage with Lana where she excitedly if not entirely comprehensibly talks strategy.
Asuka makes her entrance and an interview rolls up, but Lana doesn’t have much to say.
And so we go to break.
Back from commercial, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler are interviewed about tonight’s match.
They bicker but remain committed to winning and putting Lana through a table.
Asuka & Lana vs. Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler
Baszler and Lana to start, the champion well in control, wrestling circles around her, but Lana is eventually able to sweep the leg and make the tag! Tandem baseball slides but the champions catche them and swing them into the barricade in stereo to send us to break!

Slap caught, Nia back elbows her to the mat and kicks her before choking her over the ropes. Biel across the ring, Lana with desperation slaps, Shayna tags in and goes to work on her leg, wrenching and stomping the ankle!
Action to the floor, Jax throwing Lana into the barricade but she’s able to slip out and put Nia into the ringpost! Asuka with the hot tag, lighting Shayna up, stereo kicks and Lana tags back in! Up top, diving crossbody, Baszler rolls through and takes her into the Kirifuda Clutch! Jax pulls Asuka off the apron, Shayna falls back and puts the hooks in... ASUKA MAKES THE SAVE!
Lana is well-positioned...
Asuka & Lana win by pinfall with a lateral press from Lana on Shayna Baszler.
Sheamus is chilling out against a road case backstage when Drew McIntyre rolls up to ask if he’s okay.
Sheamus asks if he thinks seeing him attacked from behind is funny and Drew admits it’s kinda funny, and it was quality television. The Celtic Warrior admits it was fun and says he’d do exactly the same for McIntyre if their roles were reversed. Drew says that’s why they’re friends and they chat about looking forward to the actual tag team match later tonight.
New Day make their entrance to send us to break.
Back from commercial, New Day cut a promo and hype up Xavier Woods (as Austin Creed) becoming a host on the resurrected G4 network. As practice for that gig, he recaps the Hurt Business’ failed efforts to win the tag titles.
The Hurt Business, of course, interrupt their fun.
Montel Vontavious Porter says New Day are in need of a wakeup call and their math is off— they’re two and two because the referee raised their hands when New Day got counted out, so they’re actually tied up, and the next time they put the tag titles on the line, this title reign will seem like a distant dream.
Shelton Benjamin says they’re not just taking the tag titles from them, but they’re gonna hurt them, and Cedric Alexander slides in the ring to get in their face and tell them their luck runs out tonight.
Alexander blindsides Woods before the bell and beats him down! Referee John Cone backs him off and we go to break.
Cedric Alexander vs. Xavier Woods
Back from commercial, the match is joined in progress with Woods beating Alexander down in the turnbuckles. Cedric fights him off and runs the ropes only to get laid out with a back elbow! Slingshot dropkick to the floor, back inside, Xavier goes for the springboard DDT but gets countered with a Hot Shot into the ropes! Kick to the shoulder blades, piefacing him into the mat, clubbing elbows, looking for an armbar but Woods counters with a hip toss. Side headlock, slung off, chops from X! Reverse chinlock from Cedric, Woods counters with a Stunner! Comeback continues, leg lariat, kick to the gut, put him on the second, slingshot senton across the back of his neck!
Back in, Honor Roll connects, looking for a powerbomb but Alexander slips out and hits a sheerdrop brainbuster... NO GOOD! Kicks to the spine, referee John Cone has to back Cedric off, jockeying for position over a suplex in the ropes, Alexander simply shoves Woods off and dives but Xavier passes him to the floor!
Back inside, Cedric capitalizes...
Cedric Alexander wins by pinfall with Lumbar Check.
AJ Styles is hanging out backstage with his Big Buddy Omos when Matt Riddle rolls up.
They chat about their match tonight and what Riddle has named his various animals and how cute AJ is.

Heavy elbow puts Riddle into the ropes, back and forth, huge back body drop on AJ, Matt lights Keith up with palm strikes but gets clubbed right back down!
Stepping on Riddle’s hand, trading elbows and the Limitless One lays him out! Matt kicks him to the apron but Keith takes him in the corner and clubs him down! Styles returns, smashing Lee’s face into the apron, a running knee with help from Omos, Riddle with a triangle knee to take AJ out! Asai moonsault takes both men out and we go to break!
Back from commercial, Riddle is in control on both men, senton nearfall on Lee! He goes for one on Styles but the knees are up! Whip across, AJ tries to slide low but goes into the turnbuckles hard! Keith stacks Matt up in the corner off of a biel, Stinger Splash, another biel! Armbar attempt, Lee counters by simply refusing to be taken down and he swings Riddle into Styles!
Counter deadlift, the damage done, roundhouse from Matt and he alternates between forearms on both guys! Exploder suplex to AJ, Keith pounces Riddle, only two! Scoop lift, Styles slips out, Styles Rush, enzuigiri, sliding forearm, Lee off his feet but not out for the count! Overhead belly-to-belly for Riddle, AJ with diving crossbody, no good!

AJ Styles wins by pinfall with the Phenomenal Forearm to become #1 contender to the WWE Championship.
Miz and Morrison are interviewed backstage about their strategy for their match tonight, which they insist actually exists and isn’t something they’re just making up as they go along.
Dana Brooke makes her entrance to send us to break.
Dana Brooke vs. Reckoning

Dana with lariats, handspring back elbow, snapmare, Mustafa Ali runs interference but she ducks the pump kick...
Dana Brooke wins by pinfall with a schoolboy pin.
Post-match, Ali screams at Reckoning that there’s no failure in Retribution, which I dunno chief, statistics don’t seem to bear that one out.
Miz and Morrison are backstage to bribe AJ Styles to help them with a pie.
He agrees and says it’s because it’ll be easier to beat Miz at TLC than it will be Drew McIntyre, and John Morrison agrees with him.
And so we go to break.
Back from commercial, we get some hype for tonight’s edition of Raw Talk.
Montel Vontavious Porter rolls up on a recovering Matt Riddle backstage.
Riddle says losing sucks but at least he had the opportunity, unlike Bobby Lashley. MVP takes offense but Riddle cuts him off with pitching him on his weed-removal business and snack food “for munchies”. Porter piefaces him and tells him he’s glad he lost and Bobby Lashley attacks! Bob locks the Hurt Lock on and chokes him out and leaves him lying.
Elsewhere backstage, Keith Lee has a short, tense chat with Sheamus about whether or not he’s going to turn on Drew McIntyre tonight.
Drew McIntyre makes his entrance for an in-ring interview.
He recounts the last year or so of his career for our benefit and talks up his next title defense against AJ Styles. He tells Miz that the briefcase is the only thing that’s keeping him relevant, and if he cashes in, he’ll have to shove Morrison in it and then shove the case up the A-Lister’s ass.
Sheamus makes his entrance and sends us to break.
Back from commercial, AJ Styles has joined the commentary desk for our main event.
Drew McIntyre & Sheamus vs. the Miz & John Morrison
Sheamus and the Miz to start, the Celtic Warrior overwhelming the A-Lister into his own corner before hitting a fallaway slam! Miz rolls out, McIntyre throws him back in and Sheamus throws him into his corner! Tag to Morrison, evade the first lariat but the second connects and Sheamus takes him into the corner to put boots to him!
Working Johnny Raw over at length, Beats of the Bodhran on the Miz for good measure and a Finlay Roll creates a meeting of the minds! Styles gets up from commentary and jaws at Sheamus, who gets out of the ring and in his face but is able to cut Miz right off when he comes calling. Big Buddy Omos gets all imposing and Morrison dropkicks Sheamus over the announce table to send us to break!
Back from commercial, the heels are putting things together and working Sheamus over. Morrison blocking a tag, targeting the knee but the Celtic Warrior gets a heavy knee to clear the way! Tags made, McIntyre lights Miz up with lariats, whip across, overhead belly-to-belly suplexes! Morrison in, Drew catches him and suplexes him, too!
Jumping neckbreaker into the kip-up, Drew’s rolling hot, Sheamus wants in but John pulls him off the apron and dumps him over the barricade! AJ Styles springboards in with the Phenomenal Forearm...
Drew McIntyre & Sheamus win by disqualification, presumably, but no finish is announced.
Post-match, Styles directs traffic, telling Morrison to hit his finish. He goes up top, Starship Pain on Drew, Skull-Crushing Finale from Miz, Omos hands AJ the briefcase and he hands it to Chad Patton, but Miz yanks it away and they bicker instead of cashing in. The A-Lister finally hands it over, but Drew is recovered and back body drops Morrison, Claymore to Miz, no match!
Big Buddy Omos comes to AJ’s rescue before he can feel McIntyre’s wrath, carrying him bodily out of the ring like a small child.
That’s the show, folks.
