While it does indeed look like our long WWE Universal nightmare is almost over, we’re not there yet.
That’s because after Murphy’s plan to screw over his ex-Messiah came to fruition on SmackDown last night (Nov. 13), an irate Seth Rollins demanded that de facto authority figure and five-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion Adam Pearce book him in a match with Aalyah Mysterio’s boyfriend.

Pearce gave in to that demand, and Rollins vs. Murphy will happen next Friday on the Survivor Series go home show.

Since Aalyah & Murphy are still a kayfabe item, and Rey accepted his daughter’s new beau after his actions at ThunderDome this week...

... it seems we still have one more chapter to go in this story.
And honestly? Seth putting over the former Cruiserweight champ on his way out the door for some paternity leave is where this should have been headed all along.
The blue brand will also be looking to round out their two elimination tag teams on the go home next week, as Rollins, King Corbin, Kevin Owens & Jey Uso still need one more partner, and Bianca Belair, Liv Morgan & Ruby Riott have two spots open on their squad.
Ready for a good time on Nov. 20?
