Clash of Champions’ WWE Women’s Tag title tilt was postponed when champs Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler weren’t medically cleared for the Sept. 27 PPV.
At least that was what was announced. Jax in particular didn’t like that explanation. Reports from outside the company said Nia & Shayna were out due to possible exposure to someone who’d tested positive for COVID-19, presumably during the outbreak which started at the Performance Center.
Because of WWE’s gag order on talent talking about the coronavirus, the champs can’t divulge why they were out. But we knew the match was still on. And Jax said they’d be back tonight - and this confirms it. It also means Liv Morgan & Ruby Riott are getting their shot at the belts on Oct. 5 at ThunderDome!

Will they be able to take the bickering titleholders down and claim their first WWE gold? If they do, will they reveal a new team name?
