WWE brings back Halloween Havoc in NXT

Triple H had teased the return of a major event from the past recently and now we know what he was talking about:

Halloween Havoc was a show WCW ran annually from 1989 to 2000, and the name hasn’t been used since then. WWE has shown a willingness to use classic event names for various television related purposes, and that’s exactly what is happening here.

Shotzi Blackheart will act as host for the show, which will take place on Wed., Oct. 28, 2020. From the sounds of it, it will simply be a regular episode of television with a Halloween theme to it.

Which, yeah, that sounds about right!

WWE filed a trademark for the Halloween Havoc name back in late 2018. It may have taken a couple years to finally bring it back, but here it is, and on one of the most beloved brands under the company umbrella.
