WWE confirms it will be an Undertaker-themed Survivor Series

We don’t know what role the retired-for-now Mark Calaway will play in the festivities, but WWE’s confirmed this year’s will Survivor Series will double as a celebration of the anniversary of Undertaker’s official debut at the event back in 1990.

This decision was a no-brainer, as most of us could do the math - and look at how much WWE’s focused on the Dead Man in the wake of his retirement following WrestleMania 36’s Boneyard Match. But this announcement does confirm the reports from last week.

What exactly this celebration will entail remains to be seen. The event itself will take place on Sun., Nov. 22 - presumably in Orlando’s Amway Center (aka the WWE ThunderDome).

Will Taker be there, maybe overseeing a match between old foes? Or teams of old foes?

Or will his presence be limited to great commercials and documentary specials?

Survivor Series is only a month away, so we should start to find out soon.
