WWE Hell in a Cell 2020 match card, rumors

The next pay-per-view (PPV) on the WWE schedule is the Hell in a Cell event set to take place on Sun., Oct. 25, 2020, at the ThunderDome at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida, potentially the last WWE PPV show to emanate from here. This is the twelfth time the company is holding this event.

We’re just two weeks out from showtime. Here’s how the card looks right now:

  • Roman Reigns (c) vs. Jey Uso (Universal championship)

Uso wanted another shot at the title and Reigns agreed to give him to him under one condition: he would get to choose the stipulation. He went with the first ever Hell in a Cell I Quit match.

  • Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Randy Orton (WWE championship)

There is hardly any justification for this match happening. McIntyre has defeated Orton in consecutive title matches on PPV, and Orton has lost his last three PPV matches. Still, here we are, and he’s getting another title shot, this time inside Hell in a Cell.

  • Bayley (c) vs. Sasha Banks (SmackDown women’s championship)

They had a match for the title on SmackDown this past week but it ended via disqualification purely to set this match up, which will be a Hell in a Cell match.

That’s all that’s official so far. The WWE Draft is ongoing, so there’s more of a delay than normal getting matches booked for the show. That will change starting this week.
