WWE changes up Monday’s Draft pool

WWE.com

From matches to roster readjustments, WWE usually offers up rules for whatever they’re doing. But if you’ve been watching the company’s shows for any amount of time, you know they’ll adjust, bend or ignore those rules whenever they choose.

So hopefully you weren’t counting on WWE strictly adhering to the Draft information they released on Wednesday. Because they’ve already changed the pool of talent available for night two on Monday’s Raw.

One change - adding Lars Sullivan - makes sense. We can debate whether Sullivan’s return on SmackDown last night was exciting, or welcome, news. But it was news, and including him in the pre-Draft lists would have tipped us off about that news. That’s fair.

They’ve also added Elias, who should be a free agent after not being selected from the Friday pool, to Monday’s eligible Superstars. Weird... but, okay.

But it wasn’t even supposed to be possible for Miz & Morrison to be drafted until Monday, and they got picked last night.

Like we said... don’t count on WWE following their own “rules”.

Here’s the updated pool for Monday:

Andrade
Bayley
Aleister Black
Alexa Bliss
Daniel Bryan
Carmella
King Corbin
Apollo Crews
Nikki Cross
Dabba-Kato
Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode
Elias
Erik (of The Viking Raiders)
Lacey Evans
Charlotte Flair
Jeff Hardy
Billie Kay
Lana
Keith Lee
Riddick Moss
Natalya
Titus O’Neil
Randy Orton
Kevin Owens
R-Truth
RETRIBUTION (Mustafa Ali, T-BAR, MACE, SLAPJACK, RECKONING & RETALIATION)
Matt Riddle
The Riott Squad (Ruby Riott & Liv Morgan)
Peyton Royce
Arturo Ruas
Sheamus
Shinsuke Nakamura & Cesaro
The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford)
Braun Strowman
Lars Sullivan
Tamina
Akira Tozawa
Zelina Vega
Bray Wyatt
Sami Zayn

Okay. We can live with that.

Just don’t get us started on the logic of not picking Big E or Tucker along with their teammates when it costs nothing to do so...
