So Ronda Rousey’s return to WWE is far from confirmed.
The former Raw women’s champion really loves shooting down rumors. On Sunday, Rousey trolled fans and she later released a video of her reaction to her friend Shayna Baszler partaking in the Rumble match.
Appearing on the WWE podcast After The Bell with Corey Graves, Rousey was asked about when she will return to WWE.
“Probably, whenever the hell I feel like it. If they would just let me show up at live events, probably very soon.”
Rousey would double down on her love for all things WWE house shows during the interview.
“Oh my God. I miss live shows, so much. I really do. I wish I could show up randomly at live shows, I wish that made sense. That’s what I miss the most. Because I would never do hair and makeup on those days, we’d just hang out in the locker room until we had to go out there and do it. I love the camaraderie and the kind of laid back feeling of live show days. Jump in the car afterwards and go to the next town. Never being able to find food and eating beef jerky all night. I miss that.”
Rousey would also go on to reference NXT Champion Rhea Ripley on two occasions. First, Rowdy tabbed Ripley as who she would like to face if she returns to WWE. Rousey also added that she hopes Charlotte Flair will choose to face Ripley at WrestleMania 36.
Ronda Rousey still sounds very excited to talk pro wrestling. Will fans see Rowdy back in a WWE ring in 2020?
