There’s not a whole lot to go on here, but the message seems clear.
In his first public comments since word came out he’d violated WWE’s Wellness Policy for the first time and would receive a 30 day suspension as a result, Andrade’s posted to one of his social media channels.
It’s not an admission of guilt or an apology, but it seems to be an indication he’s taking this as an opportunity to reconnect with his roots (and reports indicated he was heading home to Mexico to start his suspension), and refocus on his goals.
We’ll see how it goes from here. He’s said to have some powerful supporters backstage - not even counting his fiancee - and stars ranging from Randy Orton to Rey Mysterio to Roman Reigns have taken suspensions in stride and not missed too many beats.
