Buddy Murphy & Seth Rollins retain titles after a possible Samoa Joe injury

One week after winning the Raw tag team titles, Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy had their first defense of the belts.

Opposite the champs were Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe. Prior to the match, Owens and Joe got the best of Rollins’ crew by having the Viking Raiders attack AOP backstage, thus ensuring a fair two on two match.

The match would take a turn for the champions when Joe took a bad dive before the first commercial break.

Joe was then removed from the match during the commercial break by WWE officials, though he was unable to walk off under his own power. The remainder of the match featured KO getting ever so close to getting a pinfall but having it broken up by Murphy or Rollins at the last second.

Owens got so many near falls it almost became comical.

A timely Stunner from Owens knocked Rollins out of the match, but it gave Murphy enough time to secure a roll-up for a three count.

Is this Seth Rollins versus Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe feud coming to a close? What does Buddy Murphy and Rollins holding the tag titles mean for the division?
