WWE Worlds Collide live results: Imperium vs. Undisputed ERA, Ripley vs. Storm, more!

WWE.com

Here's a place to check results and comment along with WWE’s Worlds Collide live WWE Network special - happening Sun., Jan. 25, 2020 at Toyota Center in Houston.

In their efforts to put NXT on equal footing with Raw and SmackDown, the next TakeOver is getting a weekend to itself next month. But they didn’t want Royal Rumble weekend to not have an NXT-related show. So WWE is going back to the always popular brand supremacy concept and pitting stars from the Florida-based “main” NXT against wrestlers from their transatlantic spin-off, NXT UK.

The show will stream live on WWE Network. The opening bell is scheduled for 7 p.m. Eastern, with a free pre-show at 6:30 p.m. Eastern. You can watch that here. We’ve got a preview getting you ready for all six matches here.

We'll update the results as they happen, and feel free to use this space to discuss all the action with the best pro wrestling community on the internet - before, during and after the show.

- Charly Caruso, Sam Roberts & Andy Shepard are your pre-show panel. Tom Phillips and Nigel McGuinness are calling the action.

- Kay Lee Ray def. Mia Yim via pinfall, rolling through a roll-up for one of her own and using the ropes for leverage

- Winston Churchill takes us into some RAWK for our opening hype video

- Finn Bálor def. Ilja Dragunov via pinfall after 1916

- Cathy Kelley informs us the winner of next Wednesday’s Dusty Classc final will get a shot at Undisputed ERA’s NXT Tag titles; Zack Gibson of Grizzled Young Veterans and Pete Dunne & Matt Riddle of Broserweights get some mic time to hype the match.

- Jordan Devlin def. Isaiah “Swerve” Scott, Angel Garza & Travis Banks to become the NEW NXT Cruiserweight champion; Banks was taken out when Garza hit him with a missle drop kick from the top while he was on Scott’s shoulders, Garza then hit Wingclipper on Swerve, but Devlin pulled him off and nailed him with a head butt, then landed Devil Inside for the three count before Swerve could break it up.

- After we see new North American champ Keith Lee is the crowd with Mia Yim, Robert Stone leads Chelsea Green and they take their seats for our next match.

- #DIY (Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano) def. Moustache Mountain (Trent Seven & Tyler Bate) via pinfall following Meeting In The Middle on Seven. They played all the hits, with callbacks to both teams iconic moments of recent years. Handshakes and hugs all around afterwards.

- We see Mercedes Martinez in the crowd. They then show Dakota Kai AND HERE’S TEGAN NOX! They brawl in the aisle and to the ringside area, where security separates them (much to the crowd’s dismay).

- After a video package, we see #1 contender Bianca Belair in the crowd

- Rhea Ripley def. Toni Storm via pinfall to retain the NXT championship; Rhea rolled away from a frog splash and hit Riptide. She then jawed with Belair.

- Backstage, Johnny Gargano is being interviewed when Bálor flies in with a forearm to the head. Tyler Bate gets involved, and once everyone is separated, the scene ends with Finn telling Bate this isn’t his fight.

- Imperium (WALTER, Alexander Wolfe, Fabian Aichner & Marcel Barthel) def. Undisputed ERA (Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly) via pinfall. Alexander Wolfe appeared to suffer a concussion early on, making this a handicap match. WALTER recovered from being put through an announce table by an Olympic Slam by Strong to pin Fish after a powerbomb.
