2019 was a very uneven year for Braun Strowman.
During the back half of 2018 it felt like the moment was right for The Monster Among Men to be crowned Universal champion and the de facto face of WWE. That championship win never came for Strowman in 2018, but he still had a lot of momentum heading into 2019.
