WWE and Fox got good news when the Friday television numbers came in last week. They got even more after the Jan. 17 SmackDown - and this time without anything like a huge second hour drop.
Viewership from 8 - 9 p.m. Eastern was down slightly from Jan. 10, but the biggest second hour audience since the draft buoyed the average. Ratings pretty much stayed the same, and the blue brand won the night for Fox in both the coveted 18 - 34 year old demo, and men 18 - 49.
