Last summer, Kalisto seemed like he was counting down the time until he could leave WWE. The former Cruiserweight and United States champion tweeted and deleted about having ten months until he was a free agent.
Today, Pro Wrestling Sheet’s Ryan Satin (who’s become the go to person for this kind of information since joining FS1’s WWE Backstage) is reporting that Kalisto will be staying with WWE for the next several years.
Sources told The Satin Sheet host that Kalisto recently inked a “multi-year” contract extension. Satin also heard the 33 year old re-signed because he “feels as though he still has a lot left to accomplish in the company.”
More good lucha things are on the horizon, no doubt.
