Paige has had a rough week.
On Monday, Paige’s boss Triple H made an inappropriate ‘joke’ about her when asked about a possible in-ring return for the former NXT women’s champion. A longtime target of online harassment, due to her life outside of the ring as well as a violation of her privacy, Paige was publicly disappointed in Triple H’s comment and tried to take it in stride.
Wednesday saw Paige discuss Triple H’s failed attempt at humor and saw the EVP of Talent for WWE issue a public apology to her. Today (Jan. 16) Paige joined Stephanie McMahon on Good Morning Britain to promote WWE and the company’s upcoming live events in England.
Though she was not questioned about her bosses recent remarks, Paige was once again asked about if she could one day step back in the ring.

“Oh, well not for a hot minute, but you know, never say never of course. Like you don’t want to put any doubt in anything, but yeah, hopefully one day.”
It was just a few months ago when new rumors of Paige returning to a WWE ring picked up again. So far nothing more has come out of those rumors as Paige has settled into her gig as panelist for WWE Backstage and as a general ambassador for the company.
