Over the weekend, we learned that Dwayne Johnson would be getting the Everybody Hates Chris treatment with a sitcom chronicling his upbringing called Young Rock:
My formative years, also known as my “Forrest Gump” years were wildly unbelievable, yet incredibly all true. ♂️

Ladies & gents, we bring you our exciting new comedy series, “YOUNG ROCK”. @NBC@SevenBucksProd #FierceBabyProductions pic.twitter.com/1AN8AJ8BnU
A yet to be cast actor will play the title role, but middle age Rock says he’ll also be in every episode.
Given DJ’s place in an honorary member of The Anoa’i Dynasty and his father Rocky Johnson’s career, you can expect lots of pro wrestling references in Young Rock. That likely won’t be the case in Dave Bautista’s new project, but seeing as it could pit the guy who played Drax & a Bond villain against the dude who was Khal Drogo & Aquaman, we’re expecting some physicality.

Jason Mamoa & Bautista are also co-starring in this year’s Dune adaptation from Dave’s Blade Runner 2049 director Denis Villeneuve. See will be his first television role.
Looking forward to these? Or whatever shows Braun Strowman and Becky Lynch will be staring in come 2035?
