A familiar match official for Royal Rumble

Both Roman Reigns and Baron Corbin are scheduled for the men’s Royal Rumble match at the pay-per-view on Sun., Jan. 26, 2020, in Houston, Texas. That’s not stopping WWE from booking them in yet another singles match earlier in the evening.

Indeed, Reigns and Corbin agreed to the match on this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown and it was made official not long after. It’s a filler match for a show that has two clear title matches to thrown on it to suplement the two Royal Rumble matches. That’s just to say that time will be precious on this show, and they’re giving some to a match we’ve already seen too much.
