WWE RAW RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR SEPT. 9
She moves abstract just like a shadow dancing on the edge, like a storm cloud passing overhead, effort-less and free. As the hours rush by, through her I can sense the end of time. There’s no way this can forever shine, make the sun not rise. In the air we tried to be, but you shot your arrow through me, and I’ve got to liveblog this here pro wrestling show, folks.
The show opens with... my cable refusing to load.
It takes me a few minutes but when I get it going “Stone Cold” Steve Austin is in the ring cutting a promo as part of his moderation duties for the contract signing between Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman. Braun comes out first and offers the Rattlesnake a hand, but Austin refuses and introduces Rollins.
Seth comes down and starts talking and says nobody’s stabbing anybody in the back, but after Clash of Clampions, he’s still gonna be Universal Champion. Strowman says he ain’t turning his back on Seth, he likes being tag champs, but he’s gonna love being Universal Champion, and to quote one of the greatest of all time, he’s about to open a can of whoop-ass.
Enter AJ Styles and the OC.
Styles gets on the mic and says this is a moment, Stone Cold back in Madison Square Garden, and this may be a little funny coming from him, but the OC doesn’t want none, they don’t want the Rattlesnake all riled up. Further, this is all Steve’s fault, and he needs to stay out of their business.
Eventually the OC attacks but Braun runs Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows off! Seth almost handles AJ, but Styles sidesteps and ends up taunting in front of Austin... STUNNER ON AJ STYLES! Stone Cold celebrates with a beer bash and leaves to send us to break.
Back from commercial, AJ Styles is down and out ahead of his scheduled match against Cedric Alexander.

Back from commercial we get a hype reel for WWE’s efforts to fight childhood cancer.
Roman Reigns makes his entrance.
He says almost a year ago he made the announcement that his leukemia had returned and he took leave, but that night we all gave him the strength to heal, and when he made his return, it was all that love and strength that gave him the strength to change his goals and his perspective. There’s more to this platform and he wants to use his power to pay it forward and create that momentum for others as we did for him.
So over the past few months he’s had the opportunity to visit pediatric cancer hospitals around the country, and the fact that he knew he was gonna be here two nights in a row now, that he wanted to see those kids again, but why go to them when they can come to us. The Sarcoma Warrior, The Arrival, The Mighty M, The Red Ninja, and Lilly Terror all make their entrances, and Reigns talks about how the work isn’t over yet before sending us to break.
