WWE Clash of Champions 2019 results: The Revival win the SmackDown tag team titles

The SmackDown tag team titles have taken a bit of a backseat recently but every title has to be up for grabs at Clash of Champions, so The New Day put them on the line against The Revival at tonight’s (Sun., Sept. 15, 2019) pay-per-view at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Dash & Dawson aligned themselves with Randy Orton, himself embroiled in a feud with Kofi Kingston. That meant they could all leave with titles while completely stripping New Day of theirs.

Phase one: complete.

The Revival more or less had their way with Xavier Woods and Big E, getting the majority of the offense in the match and ultimately finishing off both men with a Shatter Machine. In Woods’ case, they worked his injured knee and got the win with an inverted figure four leglock.

“Finally, WWE Universe, you are welcome,” Dawson said after. “No longer are the championships covered in proverbial pancake batter.”
