After snitching out 24/7 champion R-Truth’s location for calling her “other Carmella”, Alexa Bliss hit the ring with Nikki Cross in Charlotte, North Carolina’s Spectrum Center to defend their Women’s Tag titles.
Cross started with the woman who called her “ugly” on Tuesday night, and mocked Mandy Rose’s seductive ring taunt...

That was the early highlight for the champs, however, as with Bliss in the ring, Rose and her Fire & Desire teammate Sonya Deville took control - with a distraction assist to the crew who chased Truth around the ring and into the stands. Alexa went for the division’s most devastating maneuver (the roll-up), but Mandy kicked out. A spot where each woman connected with a punch allowed for tags.

The Scotswoman cleaned house, but may have tried to bring her partner back too early. Bliss’ attempt at a top rope spot was thwarted by her shaky legs, but Cross saved her after Deville sent her crashing to the mat.
A short time later, Cross got revenge for Rose’s Mean Girls routine and more. A rope-assisted spinning neckbreaker meant she and Alexa kept their titles.
