Women’s tag team title match set for Monday Night Raw next week

We’re just days away from SummerSlam and rumors and reports indicate the card could see even more changes. One would think that could mean booking some tag team title matches, considering not one of the three champions in that division is currently scheduled for the show.

We can rule at least one of those teams out.

Indeed, WWE has announced today that Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross, who won the women’s tag team titles on Monday Night Raw last week, will defend said titles against The Kabuki Warriors on Monday Night Raw next week.

The idea is that, well, The Kabuki Warriors were likely winners if not for, as WWE described it, some “well-timed chicanery.” The IIconics, then, seem to be fully out of the picture, at least for the time being.

A lot can happen in just a couple weeks, huh?
