Usually there are not a whole lot of reasons to check out WWE’s Watch Along series.
WWE brings back the Watch Along series this Sunday for SummerSlam, with what should be an interesting guest who may have something to say about the Goldberg versus Dolph Ziggler match.
Per the fine folks over at WWE.com.
“Four of NXT’s top Superstars have been confirmed to join the latest edition of WWE Watch Along, which is set to stream live during SummerSlam on Twitter, YouTube and Facebook.
Cathy Kelley and Pat McAfee once again host the Superstar-studded hangout, to be joined by a revolving door of Superstars and celebrities during the pay-per-view. Confirmed to be joining the party so far are NXT Champion Adam Cole, NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler, Johnny Gargano and Matt Riddle. Also appearing will be former WWE Superstar Santino Marella, TikTok musician and influencer Nick Tangorra, and Jimmy Korderas, Caroline Szwed and Nug of Rogers Sportsnet Aftermath”
Riddle has spent months hounding Goldberg on Twitter for anything and everything. The King of Bros roasted Goldberg for his performance at Super ShowDown. Since June, Riddle hasn’t let up and cut a fired up promo recently about still hating Goldberg to this day.
Despite running down Goldberg every chance he gets, it didn’t stop Riddle from campaigning to be added to the match at SummerSlam.
The Watch Along stream begins at Sunday at 7 ET/4 PT on Twitter, YouTube or Facebook.
As guests are shifted in and out, there is no guarantee Matt Riddle even joins the Watch Along panel during Goldberg versus Ziggler. Other than saying the word “bro” a lot, will Riddle use Sunday’s appearance to further advance his beef with Goldberg?
