One week after winning the Raw tag team titles with Seth Rollins, Braun Strowman was booked in a US title match opposite champion AJ Styles. Strowman’s title shot versus Styles came on the same night it was announced The Monster Among Men would challenge Rollins at Clash of Champions for the Universal title.
So what would happen if both Strowman and Rollins were double champions heading into Clash of Champions? Just to mix things up even more, WWE crowned number one contenders to the Raw tag team titles earlier in the episode.
With Gallows, Anderson, and Rollins all banned from ringside, Styles and Strowman had a short US title match. For the majority of the match Strowman dominated the champion.

When not steamrolling through Styles, Strowman was showcasing his massive power advantage.

A chop block to the knee of Strowman slowed down the challenger for a few moments. The Monster Among Men would power out of the Calf Crusher and grab back momentum in the match.
Thanks to a timely referee bump, all hell broke loose and it eventually cost Strowman the match.

With the ref out, Styles went for a low blow and it was followed up with his OC brothers coming out looking to make the save. The Monster Among Men fought off Gallows and Anderson with a chair, but was caught by a suddenly wide eyed referee holding said weapon.
Despite not using the chair on Styles, Strowman was disqualified from the match.
Braun Strowman is in a weird spot, playing the top contender for both the US and Universal titles. Already a tag team champion, what title will Strowman capture next?
