The kind of match where nobody deserved to lose.
Of all the first round matches, Drew McIntyre versus Ricochet may have been the toughest to call. Both McIntyre and Ricochet could have used a long run through the bracket.
This week on Raw, McIntyre simply dominated the early portion of the match. The beating got to the point where fans really questioned if they were watching Ricochet get squashed and bounced from the tourney.

Then Ricochet came back and he came back again, and then he somehow came back yet again. It was an unreal amount of times McIntyre stomped out every single one of his opponent's rallies.

A funny thing happened on the way to McIntyre crowning himself king; Ricochet would just not go away. Unable to put his opponent away, The Scottish Psychopath went high risk and it cost him. A Diving Recoil coupled with a 630 senton were enough to keep McIntyre down and give Ricochet the win.
Next up for Ricochet is a round of eight match-up with Samoa Joe.
What happens to Drew McIntyre after his early exit? How far can Ricochet go in the tournament?
