It seems wrestlers really love August engagements and weddings.
Add a mazel tov for WWE’s Peyton Royce and AEW’s Shawn Spears to the list which already included Becky Lynch & Seth Rollins, Finn Bálor & Vero Rodríguez (we think), and Zach Wentz & Kimber Lee.
We weren’t sure, since Royce’s Instagram was the kind of cryptic which is typical for social media, and could really just be seen as a romantic affirmation for a couple who announced their engagement back when Spears was still Tye Dillinger:
But WWE.com went ahead an congratulated the couple (using Spears WWE and shoot names, of course), which is about as official as it gets:
“WWE offers its congratulations to Peyton Royce and Ron Arneill (Tye Dillinger) on their wedding.”
So join us in sending Shawn & Peyton best wishes for a long, happy life together. And somebody tell Zack Ryder & Chelsea Green they still have a few more days left if they want to join the August ‘19 anniversary club.
