The next pay-per-view (PPV) on the WWE schedule is the Clash of Champions show set to take place on Sun., Sept. 15, 2019, at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. This marks the return of the series after a year off in 2018.
We’re still a month out from showtime and only one match is official for the show:
- King of the Ring tournament final
The King of the Ring tournament is back and will play out over the next few weeks. The final will see whoever emerges from the Raw and SmackDown sides of the bracket.
- Bayley (c) vs. Charlotte Flair (SmackDown women’s championship)
After the two handled outside business in the forms of Ember Moon and Trish Stratus, they’re right back to feuding with each other. A win would give Flair her 10th title win in her career.
Rumors indicate matches like Kofi Kingston vs. Randy Orton, Shinsuke Nakamura vs. The Miz, The New Day vs. The Revival, Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch, and Roman Reigns vs. Daniel Bryan could all happen on this show.
