Tommaso Ciampa teases NXT return, subject of his next feud

This may be the type of boost NXT wants to save for their debut on the USA network.

With all eyes on Wed., Sept. 18, it sure looks like former NXT champion Tommaso Ciampa is ready to return from the injured reserve. It was less than five months ago when the 34-year-old Ciampa went under the knife for a spinal fusion surgery.

In some circles it was thought Blackheart would never wrestle again. Back in the weight room and looking great, Ciampa once again has his sights set on current NXT Champion Adam Cole.

How’s recovery going Bay Bay? Looking pretty good here Ciampa.

Last month rumors pointed to WWE targeting a mid-August return date for Ciampa.

With NXT making their live, two hour network cable debut in Sept., could WWE push Tommaso Ciampa’s comeback to roughly one month from now?
