The first episode of Monday Night Raw coming out of SummerSlam was always going to be up in viewers, and it was. That meant it was almost certain there would be a slight downturn for the show the week after, and there was.
Indeed, this week’s episode drew 2.53 million viewers, down just a bit from the 2.72 million who tuned in for the post-SummerSlam episode.
The hourly breakdown:
Hour one: 2.54 million
Hour two: 2.63 million
Hour three: 2.42 million
That’s right in line with usual patterns, and the third hour even held up really well. Said third hour featured Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman winning the Raw tag team titles from Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows.
