Raw didn’t go well for several characters last night (Aug. 19), and WWE has issued not one but three different updates from the “local medical facility” in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Jerry Lawler tried to get away from The Fiend, but like a good horror movie villain, Bray Wyatt’s alter ego still managed to get the jump on The King. After having a hand covered in a leather “HURT” glove shoved down his throat, “Lawler reportedly left the arena under supervision following the incident.”
New Day’s Xavier Woods was “rushed to a local medical facility for further examination” after the alliance of Randy Orton and The Revival took out the WWE and SmackDown Tag Team champs in an assault which ended with Dash Wilder coming off the top rope to stomp X’s leg.

This looked like it could be an injury write-off, but on the episode of Wrestling Observer Radio recorded after Raw, Dave Meltzer said he hadn’t heard anything about Woods being hurt. He did say he heard the plan for Clash of Champions was Revival vs. New Day, and Xavier’s in-kayfabe reaction on social media would seem to support that:

Personally, I kind of expected one on Natalya after Sasha Banks destroyed her while she was still wearing a sling to sell the damage to her arm/shoulder from SummerSlam and last Monday’s fallout show, but so far, Nattie and WWE have focused on the damage The Boss did to her soul.
Disgusted.

We’ll keep you posted with updates on that, and X and The King’s visits to the don’t-call-it-a-hospital, as we get them.
