It was expected that, like Raw the night before, SmackDown LIVE would see its numbers go up on Tues., Aug. 13 thanks to it being the fallout show from SummerSlam on Sunday.
And that’s what happened.
Viewership was only up 76K from the week prior, as the audience was 2,164,000. That made it the seventh most watched cable original program, behind Rachel Maddow on MSNBC and six Fox News shows.
The show’s rating among 18-49 year olds, however, was its best since May 29. The .67 won the night on cable. We’re still largely in summer re-run season on the broadcast networks, but that number was also above everything but new episodes of reality shows like Bachelor in Paradise and America’s Got Talent in primetime on Fox, ABC, NBC, CBS and CW.
