Roman Reigns reportedly signs new deal with WWE

Roman Reigns WWE

File this under the least surprising news you’ll read today.

According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, Roman Reigns has signed a new multi-year contract with WWE. They don’t give any details beyond that but, at the very least, we know he’ll be sticking with the company for many years to come.

That’s not a surprise, considering WWE has been signing as much of its contracted talent as possible, ensuring they avoid free agency and potentially lucrative offers from outside promotions like All Elite Wrestling. There isn’t much doubt Reigns would stay put either which way, of course. He’s one of the top stars in WWE, and there’s no reason to think that will change anytime soon.

Speaking of Reigns, he’ll be wrestling Buddy Murphy on SmackDown Live tonight while he’s in the midst of a program involving someone trying to murder him. Why would he want to leave WWE when that’s what he’s got going on?
