All of a sudden Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross are fighting champions.
One night after dispatching of The IIconics on the SummerSlam Kickoff show, Bliss and Cross were back at it on Monday night. The Kabuki Warriors, Asuka and Kairi Sane, were next up in the suddenly very active WWE women’s tag team division.
Not only did Bliss and Cross put their belts on the line, their team chemistry has increased tenfold.

Asuka and Kairi had the champs on the ropes throughout their title defense. With Cross in danger, Bliss took out Asuka, with help from the ring post, and gave her partner a long enough distraction to get the jump on Sane.

A Twisted Bliss on Sane was enough for the champions to retain their titles.
