WWE 205 Live results (July 9, 2019): Anything goes!

WWE 205 Live returns to WWE Network tonight (July 9, 2019), live on Tuesday nights, with a show from SNHU Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Advertised for tonight: Oney Lorcan and Ariya Daivari settle their rivalry in an Anything Goes match. We’ll also get the final push to Extreme Rules’ Cruiserweight title rematch between champ Drew Gulak and Tony Nese.

Come right back here at 10 p.m. ET. We’ll update all the results from 205 Live live as it airs on WWE Network below the line.

Enjoy the show!

  • The show opens with Oney Lorcan cutting a promo about all the plunder he’s allowed to use against Ariya Daivari when Daivari blindsides him! They brawl into the road cases as a referee, a road agent, and general manager Drake Maverick arrives to pull them apart!
  • Thence to the intro video.
  • Brian Kendrick over Sunil Singh by submission with the Captain’s Hook despite Samir Singh’s best efforts to interfere.
  • Post-match, Samir runs in and beats Kendrick down but Akira Tozawa makes the save and the babyfaces stand tall!
  • We get a video package for Humberto Carrillo.
  • Jack Gallagher over Devin Justin with a headbutt. Mike Kanellis interrupts the match after a few minutes, throwing garbage around and bringing Drake Maverick out alongside some referees and Shawn Daivari to run him off.
  • Backstage, Drake wants to have a man-to-man chat with Kanellis. He says he’s sorry for neglecting his duties as general manager of 205 Live and he understands Mike is frustrated but he can’t take his frustrations out on other people. Kanellis says the difference is Maverick caused all of his problems and ruined his life, so it’s only fair that he ruins his little show. Drake sympathizes but says he’s going to have to fine him for his actions, and Mike loses his mind about it for a moment before accepting it and saying they all know he’s going to compete next week and he can’t wait to see how big a fine he gets for what he’s planning.
  • Oney Lorcan over Ariya Daivari by pinfall with a superplex through a table. (Anything Goes Match)
  • A video package recapping the feud between Drew Gulak and Tony Nese closes the show.
