Money in the Bank winner crashes amateur wrestling practice

Or Brock Lesnar dropped in on his old college squad. Pretty cool, however you look at it.

It’s been a few weeks since we’ve seen Brock Lesnar and his Money in the Bank briefcase on WWE television. And since he’s officially retired from mixed martial arts, what’s a sports entertainer with limited dates on his contract to do with his downtime? You can’t expect him to spend all his time farming in Canada.

So, in a sign we probably won’t be seeing him on Raw tonight (July 8) in Newark - although you never know - the Beast Incarnate dropped in on a University of Minnesota wrestling practice this morning:

Lesnar spent his junior and senior years with the Golden Gophers. In addition to meeting his pal Shelton Benjamin, Brock was a two-time NCAA All-American, two-time Big Ten Conference Champion, and the 2000 NCAA Heavyweight Champion while at U of M.

Paul Heyman almost certainly was in New Jersey while his client was in Minneapolis, helping get ready for the second Raw since he was named Executive Director of the brand.

No word on where the briefcase was during his visit.
