Days before the Extreme Rules pay-per-view (PPV) in Philadelphia, WWE will hit Manchester, New Hampshire for SmackDown Live. Just today, the promotion announced what we can expect:
- Finn Balor vs. Shinsuke Nakamura in a non-title match. Don’t be surprised if this leads to a title match at the PPV.
- Kevin Owens vs. Dolph Ziggler. They were forced to team together last week and, predictably enough, it went poorly, hence this match being made.
- A SmackDown Tag Team Championship Summit, to be attended by Daniel Bryan & Rowan, The New Day, and Heavy Machinery, who will wrestle for said titles at Extreme Rules.
- Aleister Black’s opponent at Extreme Rules will be revealed. He’s been hanging out in a closet for weeks now begging for someone to pick a fight with him. Someone finally knocked on his door, and now we’ll find out who that was.
We can also expect more from Shane McMahon, Drew McIntyre, Roman Reigns, and maybe even Undertaker as they gear up for their tag match, not to mention Kofi Kingston, Samoa Joe, Bayley, and Alexa Bliss.
See you then!
