Roman Reigns gets a MYSTERY PARTNER on the second Raw of the Paul Heyman era

Next week, WWE makes its final push toward the Extreme Rules pay-per-view (PPV) happening Sun., July 14 in Philadelphia. As part of Raw’s go home show from Newark, their website has confirmed the mixed tag match set-up online between Andrade & Zelina Vega and Becky Lynch & Seth Rollins. And they’ve also announced a MYSTERY PARTNER angle for the ongoing feud between Roman Reigns and Shane McMahon.

We’ll be getting a preview of the “No Holds Barred” McMahon & Drew McIntyre vs. Reigns & Undertaker match which will happen at the PPV. But instead of Taker, Roman will be tagging with a partner of Shane’s choosing.

Sure hope Shane O’Mac doesn’t try anything underhanded!

And just in case you think this is just a set-up for the gong and a rescue by the Dead Man, they’ve included a stipulation where if Taker interferes, he’s out of Sunday’s match.

In addition to the two tag matches, WWE.com is also teasing:

• A takeover of Raw by the newly heel AJ Styles & The Club
• R-Truth wanting his “baby” (the 24/7 title) back
• Samoa Joe wanting payback against WWE champ Kofi Kingston
• Braun Strowman responding to Bobby Lashley’s threats after their Falls Count Anywhere incident last week
